back to home
Louie’s career in the music industry started in 1992 as a staff engineer at Skip Saylor Recording in Los Angeles. During his stay at Skip’s, Louie’s engineering has been featured on several Gold and Platinum Albums, including artists such as D.J. Quik, Tony, Toni, Tone, Shaquille O’Neal, and Domino’s debut album which contains the #1 Billboard Rap Single "Ghetto Jam".
In 1994, Louie became an independent engineer and expanded his client base in the rock and pop world. Louie was now overseeing album projects from start to finish. After the mixing was completed, Louie would attend the mastering session where he was fascinated by the process. This led to Louie’s decision to develop a career in mastering.
In early 1999, Louie joined the Marcussen Mastering team and developed his skills as a digital editing and production engineer. By the end of the year, Louie was assisting Stephen in his mastering sessions while learning the art of mastering.
Upon obtaining these mastering skills, Louie began mastering local developing artists. These albums paved the way to today as Louie masters a variety of musical styles ranging from Hard Rock and Pop to Jazz and Spiritual Music.
Louie is very in tune with the current trends in various genres of music and strives to bring out a sound dynamic that enhances artist’s musical directions
